Hey there, my name is Brian and I joined CDR Pumps in December 2009 so have been with the company over eight years.

Joining CDR was a change of direction for me as I had no prior knowledge of the pump industry however I have always worked with my hands and brought manufacturing experience with me.
My role sees me looking after the back end of CDR Pumps, I work hard to keep the warehouse running efficiently, monitor and action goods in and goods out ensuring that all products leaving us are fully functional and fit for purpose, personally checking every product before it is dispatched to you and also undertaking pump repairs and producing failure reports. Since I joined CDR Pumps the company has grown significantly and has moved premises twice with an ever-expanding team and product range which means there is a constant need to adapt and change. There’s a part of me that finds this challenging but it also gives a great opportunity to increase our portfolio and bring new products to the market.
Outside work I am an avid rugby player although at 49 I should probably be watching it more than playing these days. I really enjoy spending my time outdoors walking and cycling.
