How far can CDR merchandise travel? Take part in our latest challenge for a chance to win a £250 prize.
Last year we contacted CDR Pumps as we needed to move an organic solvent that has a very high ( 3.0 ) density – from large delivery containers into smaller units via a weigh scale inside a fume cupboard.
CDR took onboard the problems we were facing and got involved with the process to a point by where they offered an alternative solution that has worked extremely well as we were experiencing a large number of health and safety constraints when it came to handling the product as manually handling and decanting the product by hand which caused some health and safety ( spillage ) concerns.
We had an initial installation problem, that was not of CDR’s making, but they supported us on site and helped sort the problem out and the solution has now been in place for a year without any problem.
One of the main concerns was moving the product with its High SG but the solution that was offered by CDR has worked very well and reduced manual handling of a hazardous product.
