With new Covid variants finding their way through, it’s as important as ever to keep your workplace hygienically clean.   Peace of mind is invaluable at times of uncertainty and looking after the health and well-being of everyone is still very important.  Cleaning your work area regularly plays an important role in reducing the spread of the virus among your workforce, customers and visitors.

An easy way to disinfect

In 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, we introduced you to the SaniSpray HP TM to help you clean your workplace and eradicate viruses and bacteria.  Designed to deliver consistent coverage, Sanispray comes with everything you need to sanitise and disinfect effectively.

To get the fullest benefits of any anti-bacterial or disinfectant, it needs to be allowed to sit for a few minutes to actively kill the bacteria and SaniSpray allows for that – you spray and you leave.  There’s no need to wait five minutes and then wipe clean like with many other procedures.  One of the biggest perks of the Sanispray is that at the end of the day, you can spray and go and be confident that your team will be coming back into a healthy space the next day (or shift).

Some people can be concerned about using too many harsh chemicals too frequently, and as a pump manufacturer, we know only too well what kind of chemicals are in manufacture which is why we also supply Hydrus which are safe, broad-spectrum disinfectants.

Wait, there is there such thing as a safe disinfectant?

Hydrus have developed a biocide to destroy harmful bacteria that is non-toxic, doesn’t irritate your eyes and leaves no harmful chemical residue.  Their products qualify as a:

  • biocide,
  • virucide,
  • fungicide,
  • sporicide, and
  • tubercolide

Whilst also being:

  • non-toxic
  • safer for your skin as it’s not corrosive
  • non-mutagenic
  • non-flammable and
  • non-corrosive

There are also different formulas for non-food prep areas and areas where food is prepared.

Staying safe throughout this pandemic has been hard for a lot of people, so if you want to make one thing easier then call us on 01933 674777

Enhancing Control and Safety in Tanker Unloading Operations

A long-term customer, who operates within the chemical manufacturing industry, approached us because they needed to modernise and improve control over their tanker unloading processes. Their existing systems operated by either using the “blowing method” or relying on pumps mounted on the tankers and weren’t particularly reliable, consistent, or safe, especially when it comes to handling aggressive chemicals such as 96% Sulphuric Acid and 50% Hydrogen Peroxide.

Industrial plant emitting clean steam instead of carbon emissions, representing decarbonization through the use of fume scrubbers.

The Right Pump for Fume Scrubbers

Chemical pumps improve the performance of your fume scrubbers!
It’s a bold statement, but true.  Industrial ventilation plays a key role in workplace safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing plants. Industries like chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and metalworking rely on robust (and reliable) ventilation systems to remove harmful fumes, particulates,…
