We are delighted to announce that CDR Pumps has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Chemicals Northwest Supplier to the Chemical Industry Award 2026.
Being shortlisted is a fantastic recognition of the work our team does every day to support the UK chemical industry with innovative, reliable and safety-focused pumping solutions. It reflects our commitment to working in close partnership with customers to solve complex chemical-handling challenges and deliver measurable long-term value.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Managing Director Ashley Fenn said:
“We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for this award. It’s a real reflection of the expertise and dedication of our team, and of the strong partnerships we’ve built with our customers and supply chain across the chemical industry. Our focus has always been on delivering safe, reliable and engineered solutions that genuinely improve plant performance, and it’s great to see that recognised by Chemicals Northwest.”
Delivering measurable value
Over the past year, we have delivered measurable performance improvements for customers across the chemical industry, including significant reductions in unplanned downtime, zero-leak operation through advanced seal-less magnetic drive technology, improved energy efficiency and extended maintenance intervals. These outcomes have helped customers enhance safety, environmental compliance and long-term plant reliability.
Notable projects include supporting the transition from traditional air-operated pumps to the innovative QUANTM™ electric diaphragm pump – a cleaner, more energy-efficient alternative. We are particularly proud to have helped a customer save £1 million in energy costs within a single year, whilst also reducing overall operating costs and supporting their sustainability goals. This real-world success underscores our commitment to advancing the electrification of pumping equipment and delivering measurable, long-term value for our customers.
More than a pump supplier
Our collaborative approach goes beyond simply supplying pumps, with customers benefiting from on-site technical assessments, rapid engineering support, in-house materials and application expertise and ongoing after-care. By acting as an extension of our customers’ engineering teams, we help to maximise uptime, improve process stability and reduce operational risk.
The shortlisting also recognises our continued investment in UK manufacturing, R&D and sustainability initiatives, including expanded UK assembly capabilities, next-generation seal-less pump designs, enhanced corrosion-resistant materials and digital monitoring and predictive maintenance trials.
The winners of the Chemicals Northwest Awards will be announced at a dinner celebration on 19 March in Liverpool.
