About CDR Pumps

CDR Pumps have been designing and manufacturing chemical process pumps for almost seventy years. Expansion into plastic pumps began in the early 1970s and CDR Pumps were one of the pioneers in the use of plastic materials for the manufacture of pumps for aggressive environments using materials such as Solid block Polypropylene and PVDF.

CDR Pumps (UK) Ltd opened in the UK in 1998 with a portfolio that includes many advanced materials including Polypropylene lining, ETFE lining and PFA linings, all of which lend themselves particularly well to very arduous aggressive chemicals and extremes of temperature. The ability to provide pump solutions in both magnetic drive and also mechanically sealed centrifugal pumps allow the CDR manufactured pump to be utilised by many Industry sectors including Chemical Process, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Radioactive and many others. These units are available either long-coupled or close-coupled and are designed in accordance with International standard DIN24256.

To complement the range of non-metallic materials, CDR also manufactures both mag drive pumps and mechanically sealed centrifugal pumps from traditional metallic materials including stainless steel and exotic alloys. These units are available in both close-coupled and long-coupled execution and comply with International standard DIN 24256.

All CDR Pumps are designed and manufactured at our state-of-the-art European manufacturing facility and headquarters based in Milan, Italy and each and every pump manufactured here is tested before we send them on to our customers. We operate a stringent quality management system which is ISO9001 compliant and up-to-date technologies are used to ensure that every CDR manufactured pump is extremely efficient and has high hydraulic capability. Computational Fluid Dynamics for Impeller and casing design, stress analysis for component design, and rapid prototype manufacture for product development and Research and Development.

All the pumps within the CDR Pump range comply with the ATEX directive, for use in hazardous areas.
