We are delighted to announce that CDR Pumps has been shortlisted by the Chemical Industries Association (CIA) as a finalist in two categories at the Chemical Industry Awards 2026.
Firstly, we are proud to be a finalist for the Chemical Industry Service Provider of the Year Award. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the UK chemical industry with innovative, reliable and safety-focused pumping solutions that enhance plant performance, improve operational efficiency and support safe, sustainable operations. It also acknowledges our partner-focused approach, working collaboratively with customers to understand their unique challenges and deliver tailored solutions that create long-term value.
Our second finalist nomination, for the Innovation Award–SME, recognises our leadership in advancing the adoption of innovative electric diaphragm technology. By helping organisations reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions, this technology addresses two of the industry’s most pressing challenges: improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
Being shortlisted for these awards is a fantastic recognition of the expertise and dedication of our team, and our commitment to working in close partnership with customers to solve complex chemical-handling challenges.
Commenting on the shortlisting, CDR Pumps Managing Director, Ashley Fenn said:
“We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for these Awards. Our focus has always been on delivering safe, reliable and engineered solutions that genuinely improve plant performance, and we’re delighted to see that recognised by the Chemical Industries Association.”
Delivering measurable value
Over the past year, we have delivered measurable performance improvements for customers across the chemical industry, including significant reductions in unplanned downtime, zero-leak operation through advanced seal-less magnetic drive technology, improved energy efficiency and extended maintenance intervals. These outcomes have helped customers enhance safety, environmental compliance and long-term plant reliability.
Notable projects include supporting the transition from traditional air-operated pumps to the innovative QUANTM™ electric diaphragm pump – a cleaner, high energy-efficient alternative. We are particularly proud to have helped a customer save £1 million in energy costs within a single year, whilst also reducing overall operating costs and supporting their sustainability goals. This real-world success underscores our commitment to advancing the electrification of pumping equipment and delivering measurable, long-term value for our customers.
More than a pump supplier
Our collaborative approach goes beyond simply supplying pumps, with customers benefiting from on-site technical assessments, rapid engineering support, and ongoing after-care. By acting as an extension of our customers’ engineering teams, we help to maximise uptime, improve process stability and reduce operational risk.
The winners of the Chemical Industry Awards will be announced at a dinner celebration on 18 June in Manchester.
