Non-Metallic Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps

Mag drive pumps have been specifically engineered for hazardous applications that can pose risks to both human safety and the environment. These pumps incorporate a seal-less technology, resulting in a “zero-vapour loss” design that effectively prevents any fluid leakage and the release of volatile, toxic, and flammable chemicals.

By utilizing a synchronous magnet configuration, magnetically driven centrifugal pumps eliminate the potential dangers associated with faulty seals. Moreover, they are capable of handling a wide range of fluids and can be custom-manufactured to comply with the required standards for ATEX environments. These pumps prioritize process safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and savings.

Non-Metallic mag drive pumps are made up of a ductile iron casing and lined with:

  • Polypropylene
  • PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)
  • ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene)
  • PFA (PerFluoroAlkoxy)
  • Conductive PFA

Moulded mag drive pumps are wholly manufactured in one of the following materials:

  • Polypropylene
  • PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
  • ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) with the exception of the STN 70 which is a moulded mag drive pump contained within a ductile iron casing for extra rigidity and strength.
