Ashley is MD of CDR Pumps, opening the UK office in 1998. His entire career has been in the chemical process pump industry having started his working life as an apprentice at LaBour Pumps in 1987. Ashley is a very hands on director and will often be found in the warehouse or out on-site with our customers.
Claire spent most of her career project managing for financial institutions before joining the CDR team in 2014. Her role as Company Secretary sees her taking key responsibility for implementing systems and procedures to support the continuous growth and development of the company.
Andy manages sales and operations for our export markets. He joined the company in 2007 and has covered all aspects of specification, sales and operations during his time here. Andy started in the pump industry when he was 17 years old and brought a wealth of experience with him when he joined us.
Kevin trained as a mechanical electrical technician gaining knowledge and experience in the chemical pumps industry before joining CDR in 2014. His role sees him taking responsibility for fault finding; commissioning & testing systems and managing supply and install projects.
An experienced engineer, Steve has been working in the pump manufacturing industry for over 25 years so has a knowledgeable and comprehensive background in a wide range of process pumps. Taking responsibility for creating new partnerships and communicating with our existing customers, Steve’s main areas of focus are the South-West of England and South Wales.
Alan joined CDR Pumps in 2017 bringing with him an extensive working knowledge of chemical process pumps for the chemical, nuclear and pharmaceutical industries. His role within the company sees him building relationships with both new and existing customers advising and supporting you through the pump specification process. Based in Manchester, Alan’s primary of focus is the North-West of England.
Our first Sales Engineer in the North-East, Andy joined CDR Pumps in spring 2018 having gained a comprehensive background in industrial process pumps and mechanical seals, support systems and couplings. His knowledge covers many aspects of pump support systems as well as pumps themselves. Located in Teesside, he is well positioned to work alongside a large network of the chemical processing and manufacturing industries.
Richard’s engineering apprenticeship trained him to be a tool maker. He is very much a ‘solutions based’ engineer and will work with you through to ensure you get the perfect pump for your application. His role at CDR has seen him carry out both external and internal sales processes since joining the company in 2014.
Having trained as a Royal Engineer in the British Army, Chris’s career has since been based in a variety of technical industries. He joined the CDR team in September 2018 as an experienced pump sales engineer with an in depth knowledge of technical documentation and is here to help you make the right choice for your fluid handling solutions.
Jenny joined the sales team in 2017 as Sales Administrator and moved into the role of Junior Sales Engineer after gaining experience and knowledge of chemical process pumps. Her role is to liaise with you to ensure that you get a smooth and consistent service from initial contact onwards.
Debbie joined CDR Pumps in 2018 as Operations administrator and her role sees her implementing and effecting the smooth transition between sales and operations ensuring you get the highest level of service. Debbie has experience as a trainee buyer in the pump industry so brings with her vast experience of processes and procedures that are essential to support your needs.
Anita joined the company in 2012 as a sales administrator and as the company has evolved and grown, so has her role within it and she has taken responsibility for the administrative procedures in most areas of CDR Pumps. Anita looks after the business administrative procedures required to keep us up and running as a company.
Jen joined the CDR team in 2016 and looks after our online and offline marketing activities, sharing information about our products and services and the knowledge of our specialist engineering team. Her hobbies include photography so she takes many of the photos of our pumps.
Tracey has been looking after the company’s finances since 2006. She has seen the company through two moves and deals with all of the invoicing and payment aspects at CDR.
Brian is our in-house product support specialist. He joined us in 2010 from the domestic manufacturing industry and his role in the company is to ensure that all products leaving us are fully functional and fit for purpose, personally checking every product before it is dispatched to you.
Den works alongside Brian in our workshop as pump engineer. He has been with CDR Pumps since its inception in 1998 and builds up and strips down pumps, produces individual baseplate mounts to spec and a lot of the customisations required by our customers.
