CDR Pumps ETS series of close coupled magnetic drive pump units, being constructed in Stainless Steel or Hastelloy-C, are now available as a self priming option which eliminates dry running of the pump.The ETS-A pump is a derivative of the already well proven ETS series of lined centrifugal Chemical Process pumps. The ETS-A is simply a self priming version for use on self priming applications, or where the process requires a pump to work on 'snore conditions' where there could be extended periods of pumps seeing no flow from the process.

The self priming chamber is available in AISI 316L and uses the 'recirculation principle' to facilitate self priming and air seperation from suction liquid. Suction depths of up to 6 metres can be achieved (subject to installation) while offering many advantages to the traditional 'self priming pump' which carry certain limitations in some applications.
